Participation in Enterprise Forums
You will have the privilege to attend exclusive enterprise-related forums and networking sessions to keep yourself up-to-date with local and international business climate and challenges faced, as well as to learn from successful entrepreneurs on their experiences on business management and views on alert issues.
Attachment to SPRING and SMEs
During your undergraduate studies, you will enjoy at least an 10-week internship programme with SPRING to gain a better understanding of the SME business dynamics and the work, culture and people in SPRING. Outstanding performing scholars may also be offered attachment opportunities with our high growth enterprises to gain first-hand practical experiences.
Overseas Work Trips
Depending on your work in SPRING, you will be presented with opportunities to organise overseas work trips or attend international conferences accompanied by SPRING management team and SME partners. You will get to benefit from understanding the SME industry from an international perspective and learning the best global practices.
- Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents.
- Good results in University or Polytechnic, and GCE 'O'/'A' Levels

Course of Study
Undergraduate courses in National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and Singapore Management University (SMU) except Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Architecture
Bond Duration
Two years bond regardless of number of years of sponsored study

Application Cycle
(I) Early Cycle
Scholarship applications are now open. Closing date is 31 October.
(II) Normal Cycle
Alternatively, you may apply during the normal cycle. Closing date is two weeks after the release of GCE ‘A’ Level results.
Submission after the normal cycle closing date will be considered for the following year's scholarship intake.
Application Process
- Screening
You will be shortlisted for an interview with us based on your submitted application form and short essay questions. The essay questions are important to your scholarship application as that helps us to understand you better as an individual.
- First Interview & Written Assessment
If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to a first round of interview and written assessment. You will be notified of the outcome within 2 weeks of your interview.
- Assessment Centre
Upon passing the first interview, you will attend the Assessment Centre which includes various team-based simulation activities where you will demonstrate their leadership abilities, enterprising values and communication skills.
- Final Panel Interview
As the final round of selection, you will meet with the top management of SPRING. Successful candidates will be awarded the scholarship.
