Overview
Studies have shown that effective HR practices can help companies outperform their competitors. Good HR practices are especially important for high growth companies and can be a real differentiator for companies to attract, develop and retain the right talent.
A
HR Capability Toolkit has been developed to offer SMEs tools, templates and guidelines in 6 strategic areas - manpower planning, recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, performance management, learning and development and career development.
SMEs can also get
consultancy support by engaging qualified HR consultants to help them customise the modules to their needs and write HR policies for their companies. SMEs are encouraged to take the first step towards capability upgrading by tapping the
Innovation and Capability Voucher (ICV) scheme. The ICV (Human Resources) can be redeemed at participating
service providers. SMEs which wish to further upgrade their capabilities may tap the HR Capability Programme for customised assistance.
SMEs which have fully redeemed their ICV vouchers under Human Resources and would like to continue engaging HR consultants to assist in other modules may still apply for funding. The consultancy cost per module is $4,500.
