Business Excellence Clinics
Organisations can seek advice and guidance on any area of concern in their BE journey through the business excellence clinic.
The BE clinic conducted by an experienced business excellence assessor or practitioner can provide the following assistance :
- Customised briefing/presentation to help organisations better understand requirements of the BE standard and its implementation ;
- Guidance in addressing findings of the BE assessment feedback report ;
- Sharing of good practices relevant to the BE standards and its implementation.
The BE Clinic is provided in one-hour time slots at $150 per hour.

Business Excellence Training Courses
The Assess Organisation for Business Excellence and the Managing Business Excellence Courses have been revised based on the competency standards developed under the Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ). These two courses support SPRING’s Business Excellence initiative.
Assess Organisation for Business Excellence is a three-day (24 hours) course for managers and staff serving as internal assessors in their organisations. It provides participants with an understanding of the requirements of the business excellence standards and also trains them to conduct a self-assessment of their organisation’s capabilities based on these standards. At the end of the training, participants will be able to plan for and conduct business excellence assessments and report assessment findings.
Managing Business Excellence is a three-day (24 hours) course for participants keen to take on the role of an assessor for internal and/or external business excellence assessments. Participants must be able to plan for business excellence assessment, conduct business excellence assessment as well as report assessment findings in their duties as assessors for business excellence. At the end of the training, participants will be able to plan for business excellence, facilitate business excellence self-assessment, manage improvements for business excellence and sustain business excellence in the organisation.
Upon completion of each of the courses, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA).

Business Excellence Consultants
To be listed as Business Excellence (BE) Consultant, applicants must meet the following qualification criteria :
At least a diploma qualification
- Degree holder or equivalent should have had 5 years in management function or 3 years in management consultancy
- Diploma holder should have had 7 years in management function or 5 years in management consultancy
- Actively engaged in management consultancy for not less than 1000 hours in total over a period of 3 years prior to application
- Achieved Practising Management Consultant (PMC) Certification
- Completed these courses :
- Assess Organisation for Business Excellence (conducted by TÜV SÜD PSB Learning Pte Ltd, SP Consulting or Capelle Consulting) and
- Business Excellence Consultant Course (conducted by SPRING Singapore)
- Produce descriptions of three client engagements on management systems and processes including problems addressed, solutions provided, results achieved and feedback/endorsements from clients
- Must be owner or employee of a firm in independent practice
