Established in 1993, Golden Bridge Foods Manufacturing produces a variety of hams, stuffed fish and seafood products, as well as eastern and western sausage products under in-house brand names like Golden Bridge and Kelly’s. The first sausage production plant in Singapore to obtain ISO 22000 and HACCP certification, Golden Bridge focuses on providing consumers with an ever-increasing range of flavoursome and high quality sausages and stuffed meat products.
Areas of Expertise
For the company, sausage making goes beyond the simple process of stuffing meat into shape. It involves careful selection of meats, seasoning and other ingredients before meticulously drying and smoking the sausages to enhance and preserve their aroma and taste. The company’s edge lies in its sausage making formula and techniques which enable its sausages to retain their moisture and tenderness during production.
Today, its products are widely distributed to major supermarkets such as NTUC FairPrice, Giant Hypermarket and Carrefour, as well as wet markets, food courts, cafes, hotels and restaurants in Singapore. It is one of the largest local suppliers of Chinese sausages. The company is also exploring the option of setting up a halal manufacturing facility (with plans to commence in March 2010) under a subsidiary company, Ellaziq Pte Ltd. The new halal arm of Golden Bridge will helm two brand names, EL-DINA and KIZMIQ.
