Thomson Medical Private Limited is one of Singapore's leading providers of healthcare services for women and children. Established in 1979, it provides a comprehensive range of services for women and children through its Thomson Fertility Centre, Thomson Women's Clinics, Thomson Paediatric Centre, Thomson Women Cancer Centre, Thomson Chinese Medicine, Thomson Pre-Natal Diagnostic Laboratory, Thomson Aesthetics Centre and Thomson International Health Services.
The company's hospital, Thomson Medical Centre (TMC), was the first private hospital to set up an obstetric ultrasound department in 1982, and an in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) clinic in 1987. The hospital was also the first to provide new mothers with access to its trained confinement nannies after their deliveries.
