SPRING Singapore provides a number of resources that help the business excellence community with benchmarking their performance. These include the Business Excellence Diagnostic Tool, access to the Business Excellence Improvement Resource, and case study booklets.
Business Excellence Diagnostic Tool
The Business Excellence (BE) Diagnostic Tool allows organisations to compare their performance in the seven categories of the business excellence standard against industry, private sector, public sector and national benchmarks. In addition, it also generates a report that describes the organisation’s performance and highlights the excellence indicators in each category.

Business Excellence Improvement Resource
The Business Excellence Improvement Resource (BPIR) was developed by the Centre for Organisational Research, Massey University, New Zealand. It contains descriptions of how other successful organisations around the world measure, manage, and improve their performance, management tools, performance measures, and best practice reports. Free access to the BPIR is provided to all business excellence certified organisations and to all business excellence assessors. Free BPIR training is also provided. Case Study Booklets
Case study booklets are developed regularly. They highlight the best practices of leading organisations, which other organisations in the business excellence community may wish to benchmark against.
