The objective of the Standards Committees (SCs) is to develop, maintain, promote and facilitate the implementation of Singapore Standards to support industry growth and national initiatives in safety & health promotion, environmental protection and active aging. The SCs also review and promote Singapore’s participation in the development of international standards that are key to Singapore’s strategic interest. There are currently 11 SCs under the purview of the Singapore Standards Council.
The objective of BMSC is to support the biomedical and health clusters in Singapore. The scope of BMSC covers :

- Thermal imaging
