Announcement

As part of MTI-SPRING’s initiatives announced at the Committee of Supply (COS) 2017:

  • SPRING’s Partnership (PACT) programme will feature an enhanced $80 million “Gov-PACT” programme. Under the Gov-PACT, the Government will serve as the large orgnisation with which SMEs/startups will work with to develop and test-bed innovations.
  • SPRING will engage more Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs) under the Local Enterprises and Association Development (LEAD) programme. TACs that support key initiatives under the 23 Industry Transformation Maps (ITMs) will be supported in upgrading and internationalisation efforts. The programme’s budget will be increased to $100 million from now till 2020.

Collaborative Industry Projects (CIP)

The CIP initiative supports collaborations between enterprises and industry partners, such as Trade Associations and Chambers, to find solutions to industry-specific business challenges.

A*STAR Collaborative Commerce Marketplace (ACCM)

The ACCM is a free business matching platform run by A*STAR for manufacturing players in Singapore. A*STAR works with SMEs to forge public-private partnerships and serves as a technology facilitator to form partnerships within the SME community. Users include MNCs, SMEs, Research Institutes and government agencies.
